Integrity

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself -- and you are the easiest person to fool. So I wish you... the good luck to be somewhere where you are free to maintain your integrity, where you do not feel forced by a need to maintain your position in the organization, financial support, or so on, to lose your integrity.

May you have that freedom."

Academic vs Organization

Academic performances and theoretical mastery of science subject are important. However, I always encouraged to play a role in extracurricular activity. For me, holding top performances in academic record and active in organizational role are not a paradox, but a necessity. From elementary school I joined Quran Recital Group and scout, which I must admit, very beneficial for my character development. At junior high school, I joined “Merpati Putih” a traditional martial art, and by that, learned to appreciate the richness of Indonesian heritage. At Senior High School, I was appointed as a head of moral division in Majelis Permusyawaratan Kelas (Student Representatives Council). During my study in college, I joined in Lembaga Penelitian dan Kajian Teknologi Aplikatif (Association for Research and Study of Applied Technology) and Keluarga Mahasiswa Teknik Fisika (Physics Engineering Students Association), being treasurer in three events and being head of events organizer for Excursion Study 2009. Currently I was appointed as event coordinator for High School Scientific Paper Competition
