Integrity

"The first principle is that you must not fool yourself -- and you are the easiest person to fool. So I wish you... the good luck to be somewhere where you are free to maintain your integrity, where you do not feel forced by a need to maintain your position in the organization, financial support, or so on, to lose your integrity.

May you have that freedom."

Missing iEARN

In July 2006, I was appointed by Labschool Senior High to attend iEARN (international Education and Research Summit) Youth Summit in Enschede, Netherland with other 19 high school students as Indonesian representatives. In the youth summit, we exchanged ideas, shared cultures, with students from Brazil, US, Chinese, Indian… Discussed Millennium Development Goals problem included emancipation, poverty and education… We even play saman dance (a traditional Indonesian Dance) from Aceh in front of international audiences… The most important thing that I get from iEARN is an extraordinary encounter with cultures that I only ever imagine before. The iEARN Youth Summit only held for a week, but I miss it very much.
